Court of Appeals Finds in Favor of PID
The Village of Angel Fire has now accepted all District subdivisions for maintenance. A contract with Kit Carson Electric Cooperative to pull electrical wire through buried conduit as needed is expected to be complete in 2017.
The Village of Angel Fire, New Mexico adopted Resolution No. 2008-07 creating Public Improvement District ("PID") No. 2007-1 on February 14, 2008.
The Formation Resolution No. 2008-7 authorized the Board of Directors of the PID to finance and construct certain public infrastructure improvement upon real property in the PID. It shall impose a PID Special Levy upon the Real Property within the PID to finance the Improvements.
The PID was subsequently approved by a majority of voters at an election of PID Real Property owners held on April 21, 2008. The Notice of Imposition of the Special Levy was recorded in the real property records of Colfax County, New Mexico on June 4, 2008.

Regular Board Meetings are held at the District Board Meeting Room, Village of Angel Fire, 3465 Mountain View Boulevard, Suite 14, Angel Fire, New Mexico at 1:30 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month or as otherwise indicated in the meeting notice posted at Village Hall, the Post Office, Mini Mart, and on this website under Public Notice.
