District Governance

The District is a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico.  The Village of Angel Fire Council is the governing body as defined  by the New Mexico Public Improvement District Act.  The governing body appoints the District Board of Directors who act as governing body designees. The governing body has the option of assuming the responsibilities of the Board or of holding an election for new directors by majority vote of the qualified electors and owners.

Regular Board Meetings are held at the District Board Meeting Room, 3382 Highway 434, Unit A, Angel Fire, New Mexico unless otherwise noticed. Note that during COVID-19 restrictions, meetings will be conducted online via Zoom. Information to register to attend Zoom meetings is included on meeting notices.  Notices are posted at the Post Office, Mini Mart, and on this website.
